Small firm. Big fixes.
We’re a small UK consultancy helping finance teams plan, report and consolidate better, and get the most out of AI. Here’s who we are, what you can expect from us, and how we run the business.
Without all the fluff
Northexis started in 2025, but the work didn’t. Before that it was more than a decade of helping finance teams improve how they plan, report and consolidate, plus time spent purely on getting data out of systems and into others.
So we started with a simple question. If we were the finance team trying to improve, what would we want? Someone to cut out the marketing and sales noise, and just help – practical things you can actually do, and get something out of. Our Insights are a good example: no gated downloads, no fluff, just what we’d tell you if you asked.
What you can expect from us
-
We’re fixed fee.
No-one in the office of finance likes costs that aren’t certain, so our projects always are. Hourly billing leaves everyone watching the clock instead of the work, so we’ve taken it off the table.
-
We do what we say.
From delivering on project promises to simply getting back to you when we say we will, every time.
-
We’re transparent.
We’ll be upfront about what we can and can’t deliver – and the same for the software we provide.
-
We target value fast.
We get that signing off spend is stressful, and we work to show value as soon as possible.
-
We will challenge you.
We’re a consultancy, and we will consult. If we think what you’re doing is wrong or suboptimal, we’ll tell you.
-
Your fix comes first.
In every situation, we deliver the best solution we can think of – even if it eats into our margin.
How we’re set up
A small UK team. Working directly with you – no offshore delivery arm and nobody you haven’t met.
Remote, but with you when it counts. We work remotely across the UK, which keeps us flexible around your day to day. The kickoff workshop is the day we advise to be in person; that time sets us up for successful remote work together.
How a project runs. It’s all written down, from the first call to the day you take it over – including what we’ll ask of you.
-
Good Business Charter accredited. A public commitment to customers, paying suppliers promptly, and paying our fair share of tax.
Start with a conversation that has a scope.
Thirty minutes, free, and you’ll know by the end whether there’s anything here for you. Most of the organisations we speak with aren’t looking to buy anything right now – we’re happy to educate and inform, for when the time is right.
