The whole finance function, not one tool.

You look after the ledger, the accounts or the finance team. We look after what comes after it: budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and getting the most out of AI. If a client needs that, let’s talk – we’ll look after them, and after you.

Who it’s for

  • You sell or implement a ledger or ERP.

Or anything next to it – payroll, spend, CRM, data. Your client’s got a lovely new system, and the budget still lives in forty spreadsheets. That part’s us.

  • You’re an accounting firm.

You see the numbers every month and you can tell when a client has outgrown their spreadsheets – usually because you’re the one reconciling them.

  • You’re a fractional, outsourced or interim finance leader.

You’ve got a handful of days a month and a board that wants a forecast. We build it with you, so you can spend those days on the advice they’re paying for.

  • You back or advise growing businesses.

Investors and operating partners want reporting they can rely on and a budget they believe. Corporate finance advisers see the acquisition coming before the finance team feels it. Either way, the first question is usually ‘how do we consolidate this?’.

  • You’re already a customer.

If you know someone in the same boat you were in, the best thing you can do is tell them what your project was like, and how things are now. Then introduce us.

We stay in our lane.

We don’t sell or implement ledgers or ERPs, and we don’t do accounts, tax or audit. We won’t pitch for your work, and we won’t go round you to your client. If something comes up that’s your territory, it comes back to you.

And it works both ways. Our customers ask us who to use for their ledger, their other systems and their interim cover, and we’d much rather point them to people we know.

How it works

  1. Tell us about it. Fill in the form on our contact page with a bit about your client – what’s slow, what they use, and roughly how big the finance team is. No names needed yet.

  2. Thirty minutes, just us. The first time, before your client’s involved, we’ll grab half an hour with you to meet you, understand what the client needs, and whether we’re the right people. If we’re not, you’ll hear it then.

  3. Then introduce us. A short email to your client with us copied in, so they know we’re coming.

  4. A free conversation. Thirty minutes with your client, and they’ll know by the end whether there’s anything here for them. You’re welcome on that call, and any after it.

  5. A fixed fee, agreed first. If it goes ahead, your client gets a scope and a number, and the number on the proposal is the number on the invoice.

  6. Next time, just introduce us. Once we know each other, there’s no need for the half hour first – an email to your client with us copied in is plenty.

Saying thank you

If an introduction turns into a project, we’ll thank you properly. We’ll agree what that looks like in our first half hour, so there’s no awkward conversation later.

It doesn’t have to be a fee. Plenty of firms can’t take one, and plenty more would rather not. It can be credit on our services instead, or a discount off your client’s project, or a donation to a charity of your choice.

And we’ll never be cagey about it: if your client asks whether there’s an arrangement between us, the answer’s yes, and here’s what it is.

Questions people ask

Do I need to sign anything?

Not to make an introduction; we often leave contracts until there’s a real fit. If you’d like it more formal straight away, we have a standard agreement we can get to you immediately.

What if my client isn’t a fit?

We’ll tell you, before they’re even involved. And if we only find out later, we’ll tell them and you straight away. We’d rather lose the project than sell someone the wrong thing.

Know someone who’d get something out of this?

Fill in the form with a bit about them, and we’ll set up the first half hour – just you and us.

Not on the list above? If you work with finance teams and it sounds like a fit, get in touch anyway.
