Who’s involved on your side

A Claude lead

Usually someone in finance, who decides how the team uses Claude – what gets automated, what data can go in, and which Claude skills are shared.

A Claude account owner

Looks after the account settings. In a smaller team that can be the same person; otherwise it’s usually someone in IT.

How it runs

Spread over a few sessions, because Claude is best learned by allowing some time to play around in between.

  1. Kickoff call. 1 hour, your Claude lead and us. We map the tools you use and the tasks you’d most like to take off people’s plates, agree where you stand on data, and run a quick test to see whether your PCs can run scripts Claude writes. Everything after this is shaped by what we hear.

  2. IT liaising. Your Claude lead and your IT team work through a short list from us: the desktop app, your email, calendar and messaging connectors, Chrome, network rules and where Claude’s files will be backed up. It’s tailored to your systems, and we’re on hand if they have questions.

  3. Admin setup. 60–90 minutes, your Claude lead, your Claude account owner and us. Your Claude Team plan, the organisation settings that matter for a finance team, and which connectors and add-ins your team gets. Your Claude lead decides; your account owner applies the settings.

  4. Connector test. 30 minutes, your Claude lead and us. We check everything works before your team sees it.

  5. Team setup and first work. 3 hours with the whole team, as three 1-hour sessions or two 1.5-hour sessions, whichever suits you. Setup, projects and folders, connectors and add-ins, skills, the habits that keep it safe and useful, and its limitations – plus 45 minutes where everyone does a task they do every month, in Claude, with your own templates.

  6. 30-day check-in. 45 minutes, your Claude lead and us, with the team welcome to join. We fix whatever’s come up, look at how the team is using it, and build your first custom Claude skill together.

What you end up with

Everyone on the team has Claude set up, a Claude project pointed at a backed-up folder, their email, calendar and messaging connected, a Claude skill switched on – and one of their own tasks already done in Claude.

One thing to say up front: Claude changes almost weekly. Some of what we cover will have moved on by the time we run the sessions, so we check everything the day before, and we teach the habits that don’t go out of date.

What you’ll need

  • A Claude Team plan for everyone taking part, paid to Anthropic separately. We set it up together.
  • Windows PCs – that’s what we train on.
  • Someone in IT who can approve the connectors for your email, calendar and messaging.

It doesn’t get your data ready for AI – that’s a bigger job, and we do that too.
